Personnel who are retiring may attend 24 months prior to retirement
Personnel who are separating may attend 12 months prior to separation
The sooner you attend the better prepared you are for your transition

■ What does a TAP Workshops do for me? Workshops assist you in identifying and marketing your
skills, job search, resumes, interviewing, and preparation for a successful transition from military to civilian
occupation.
■ What is covered? Veterans Benefits, Health Benefits, Evaluating Job Offers, Resumes, Cover Letters,
Interviewing, Clinching the Job Offer, Dressing for Success, and State Employment Agency Services.
■ When should I plan to attend? To more effectively plan and market yourself, you should attend one
year prior to separation, if retiring, two years prior retirement.
■ Who else besides military can attend? Spouses are encouraged to attend with or without their
sponsor. DOD civilians are eligible to attend.
■ When are the workshops? - 0730 – 1630 Monday – Friday on dates listed below.

PRE-SEPARATION COUNSELING IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO ATTENDANCE.
