1. POPULATION
 According to latest estimates from the National Bureau of
Statistics and the Dubai Statistical Centre, the population
of Dubai stood at 2.07 million
 The annual growth rate for Dubai is approximately 8% and
7.5% for the UAE
 In 2007, 292000 new residents entered Dubai (at an
average of 800 a day)
 75.5% of Dubai’s population is male

 They tends to vary between 40 to 48 hours (depending
on company’s policy)
 Office hours
- 8.30 or 9 am to 530 to 6 pm (PRIVATE sector)
- 7.30 am to 230 pm (GOVERNMENT sector)
 In Ramadan, working day is reduced to 6 hours and only
apply to all Muslims
 Friday is the Muslim’s rest day
