Plurals
–Most nouns take – s to form their plurals.
Ex: hat – hats, cup- cups
–Nouns ending in -s,-ss, or -x take -es to form their
plural.

Writing (a letter giving advice)
Read the letter:
Dear Jenny,
Thanks for your letter. I was sorry to hear that
you and your neighbour are having problems and are
always arguing. I have got a couple of ideas which I hope
will help you.
6. Firstly, you should try never to lose your temper
when you talk to your neighbour. If you stay calm, your
neighbour will do the same. This way you'll both be able
to listen to each other and be reasonable.
Secondly, why don't you agree to some of the
changes your neighbour wants? Then, your neighbour
should agree to some of the changes you want. This way
you will both be happy.
Well, I must go now because I have a lot of
things to do. I hope these ideas help. Write or give me a
ring if there is anything else I can't do.
