Analisa
Percobaan yang telah dilakukan diatas merupakan simulasi dari sensitifitas sensor terhadap
beberapa komposisi bahan untuk mengetahui jarak pengenalan sensor tersebut. Dalam percobaan
, terdapat beberapa ketentuan sebagai berikut :
1.komposisi bahan yang digunakan adalah kuningan, stainless steel, aluminium, tembaga ,plastic
hitam dan plasti putih.
2. Setiap bahan di lihat perubahan tegangannya, apabila terdapat perubahan maka sensor tersebut
memiliki sensitifitas terhadap bahan tersebut
3.Setiap bahan diukur jarak pengenalan sensornya
4. Asumsi sensor proximity pada umumnya ketika ada bahan logam maupun non logam akan
tetap mendektesi bahan selama dalam jarak jangkauan si sensor.
Hasil Percobaan
Pada percobaan pertama kali yaitu saat sensor diberikan bahan kuningan dan aluminium jarak
pengenalannya lebih jauh dibandingkan dengan plastik. Dapat dilihat pada table dibawah ini :

Dilihat dari data diatas bahwa ketidaksamaan antara asumsi sensor yang seharusnya bisa
mendekteksi logam dan non logam. Hal ini dapat terjadi dikarenakan beberapa hal diantaranya
adalah kesalahan saat praktikum yang telah dilakukan atau dari sensor yang sensitifitasnya telah
berkurang.
Kesimpulan
Capasitive proximity sensor memanfaatkan prinsip kapasitansi, antara elektroda dan ground yang
naik ketika object terdeteksioleh sensorsehingga semua objek termasukkonduktor dan dielektrik.
Jadi hal ini juga memungkinkan untuk mendeteksi logam dan dielektrik substansi . Selain itu,
karena deteksi ditarik oleh perbedaan zat dielektrik kemungkinan untuk merasakan obyek yang
terkandung dalam peralatan non - logam seperti kertas , kaca, dan plastik .
