A glimpse of some of his many 3 year old milestones and his current age is 4.2:
Motor Development: Gross Motor Skills
Swims independently, Rides bike, plays cooperative sports (soccer), can rollerskate, Running is controlled; can start, stop, and turn, Turns
somersaults; hops on one foot; gallops, Can easily catch, throw, and bounce a ball
Brushes teeth, combs hair, washes, and dresses independently
Toilet trained
Motor Development: Fine Motor Skills
Copies crosses, shapes, zig-zags, prints letters and numbers, uses scissors, glue, paints, playdough skillfully & appropriately, uses table
utensils skillfully and appropriately, plans and builds elaborate lego and block structures, measures and stirs for cooking
Language and Thinking Development
Uses an extensive vocabulary and constantly asking for more information; speaks in relatively complex sentences ("Mommy opened the
door and the dog ran out.")
Understands words that relate one idea to another - if, why, when
Continues to learn through experience and the senses
Has a great sense of humor and loves to make his family and friends giggle
Understands the difference between fantasy and reality
Understands number and space concepts — more, less, bigger, in, under, behind
Thinks literally; developing logical thinking

• A school and teachers that will love him and appreciate his beautiful
spirit
• A school and teachers who model and provide him with opportunities
to continue developing his social skills and manners
• A school and teachers that are knowledgeable regarding the
developmental levels of 4 year old children
• Even though he passed, we would still request Speech support – “r”,
“s”, “th”
• A school and teachers that will continue to provide direct instruction
with academic concepts
