History
• Mr. H. R. Gaikwad, completed his education as part of the Earn and
Learn scheme and then started his career as a Graduate Trainee
Engineer (1994) in Tata Motors Limited. While undergoing this
struggle during his college days, inspired by readings of Swami
Vivekananda he formed Bharat Vikas Pratishthan in 1993.
• Later he business ‘Bharat Vikas Group’ in 1997, along with Mr.
Umesh Mane and just 8 other individuals, with the aim of creating
employment opportunities for rural youth.
• Left job at Tata Motors in 2001, when BVG had over 300 employees,
today that number has grown to more than 60,000 employees, at
more than 700 locations providing services to over 480 satisfied
clients.

Rural Electrification Projects
MSEDCL Project: Satara Region INFRA II-A Scheme - Establishing new
substation, distribution of HT (High Tension) & LT (Low Tension) cable
lines & distribution of transformers
GFSS Project: Baramati Region Feeder separation scheme,
underground cable distribution of HT & LT line and distribution of
transformers
With an involvement of more than 2000 employees, with current
progress we completed these projects in 18 months against a 24
month timeline.
Satisfied with our performance, MSEDCL has awarded us Infra Phase I
Scheme - Baramati, Kedgaon & Manchar Region
Amongst 110 contractors in Maharashtra, BVG is the only contractor
to complete the project ahead of schedule

• In PCMC approximately 800 MT Waste garbage get dumped per day
• In the year 2011 there were infinite number of crows and bees due to foul
smell and odour of garbage
• People Preferred not to reside nearby to Moshi Garbage depot due to bad
odour
• We BVG India Ltd took work of proper disposal of this waste
• We emptied all area and did Land filling along with Scientific Capping
• In Scientific capping we performed activities like leachate extraction
• Harmful Gas extraction from waste
• Now out of 800 MT we are using only 125 MT Waste to fill the land and other

Joint Venture – Goat Milk
• BVG has formed a joint venture with France based
Eurial International for goat cheese which is a
premier and high end food product and also goat
milk powder which is very beneficial for infants.
• BVG has also formed a consortium for large scale
goat milk production.

ordinated Research Project Goat Improvement
(AICRP-ICAR), South Gujarat Goat Farmers Co-
operative Union, Navsari Agriculture University

Joint Venture – Camel Milk
• BVG has initiated formation of a consortium for Large scale
Production of Camel Milk with National Research Centre on
Camel- Bikaner, College of Veterinary Science –Udaipur, Sarhad
Dairy- Anjar, Gujarat and Lokhit Pashu Palan Sanstha-Rajasthan.
• Camel milk has a protein with molecular structure similar to
Insulin and is very good for type-1 and type-2 Diabetes.
• One study (US) showed that a daily intake of one pint of fresh
camel milk contained approx. 52 micro units per ml of insulin
which helped reduce insulin dependence & maintain glycaemic
control in Type-1 diabetes (Ref-Camel Milk Association, USA).
• Camel milk has high milk has antibacterial and antiviral
properties in addition to being an excellent Nutritional
Supplement for Women and child health.

• BVG has got into a public-private partnership with the
Directorate of Sorghum Research for cultivation and value
added GLUTEN – FREE sorghum products.
• BVG has also taken an initiative in introducing Omega-3

MILK ENHANCERS FOR COWS & BUFFALOES
GAI GRASS is a probiotic (good bacteria) feed
additive, Improves productivity and milk
Yield by minimum 1 Litre OR 10%, Input cost
only Rs 1.50 per litre.
Galactogogue is a po lyherbal formulation for
increasing Fat and Milk yield developed by
NIF. It improves Feed to Energy conversion
ratio in ageing Ruminants .

cows and buffalos
Comfert:
• Tested by Mumbai Veterinary University and certified as medicine
to cows and buffalos.
• This increases the fertility of Cows and Buffalos which ultimately
results in to Milk Generation.
• 20 gm/Day for 10 days shows great results towards fertilisation
LDP
• This medicine reduces the reduction of milk from cows and
buffalos due to reasons like separation from calf , death of calf ,
exertion due to travelling etc.
• It also reduces the use of ‘Oxytocine” which hamper the health of
animal and which is also harmful for human due to consumption
from milk
• 50 gm/ Day before taking milk from cow for 3 to 5 days will
results in to increase in milk generation.

• It improves health of animal by protecting digestion power.
• Per day 30 gm results in to 1 to 1.5 Litre average increase in milk
per day

cows and buffalos when there is change in whether. It maintain
the milk generation level even there is change in whether or

Need Of Registration
Agriculture is the principal source of livelihood for more than 58% of the
population of this country. Hence, it is essential to focus on innovations in
agricultural technology for the development of this sector. With focus on
introducing modern scientific methods in a major way to improve agriculture
& Livestock the Livestock & Crop Registry India ltd (LCRI) launched the
Livestock & crop registration program.

1. Crop registration system is developed by LCRI for timely
Crop management in the agro driven economy of India.
2. Plain & Simple , properly registered crop per acre will help
to manage agriculture system from multiple farms
located at different geographical location. Due to lack
of registration system its difficult to track land under
cultivation for particular crop, average crop yield of
country & it’s difficult to predict probable market value of
crop.
3. Crop per acre which is cultivated by a farmer, will be
registered at LCRI by keeping track of cultivated crop till its
harvesting & data of the same will be recorded at LCRI Data
Centre

act 2013 which will carryout registration system for cattle,
buffalo & Crop for benefits of Farmer, Bankers, Insurance Co. &
Nation.
• LCRI will analysis & maintain all the data regarding DNA, Milk
production, Animal ownership, financing Co, Insurance Co,
Purchase price, vaccination & other animal records.
• LCRI will analyze & maintain all data regarding crop plantation
area, type of crop etc.
• LCRI will provide these records to participations as and when
required for betterment of this field.
