Dorset is a Dutch company founded in 1985 that specializes in biomass drying systems. They dry various organic materials like manure, sewage sludge, wood chips and grass to add value by transforming them into fertilizers, bedding or fuel. Dorset's plate belt dryers reduce weight and volume to lower transport costs. The dryers can be powered by waste heat sources. Air cleaning systems ensure emissions and smells meet regulations. Dorset has developed drying and pelletizing systems to process poultry manure into a dry, compact fertilizer fuel.
