The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) is a global bar association of over 40,000 in-house counsel members employed across over 10,000 organizations in 85 countries. The ACC Chicago chapter has over 2,100 members representing more than 700 companies. Zachary Raimi is the 2016 ACC Chicago Member of the Year. the common professional and business interests of in-house counsel who work for corporations,
associations and other private-sector organizations through information, education, networking
opportunities and advocacy initiatives. ACC connects its members to each other and to the people
and resources necessary for their personal and professional growth.
The chicago chapter (ACC chicago) is one of the ACC's largest, most active and most diverse
chapters. lts more than 2,100 members represent more than 7oo companies. ACC chicago offers
its members numerous programs, including MclE-accredited seminars tailored to in-house practice,
social networking events and career development workshops. We also support community
outreach, with member volunteer programs such as the ACC Chicago/Street Law Pipeline Program,
which creates partnerships between in-house counsel and underserved high school classes in
order to encourage students to consider careers in law. ACC Chicago also runs the Diversity
Summer Internship Program, which places first-year law students in legal departments of Chicago
area companies and provides both one-on-one and group mentoring.

Zachary Raimi
Zachary Raimi is the Director of Legal, Americas for HH Global, an
innovative marketing servlces company with operations in more than
25 countries. At HH Global, Zack is responsible for the company's legal
afFairs in the United States, Canada and Latin America. Zack regularly
provides legal and strategic advice to HH Global's business leaders
while helping the company manage its legal risk.
Zack's practice at HH Global covers a wide range of diverse legal issues, including: negotiating and
drafting commercial contracts with the company's clients and supply chain; corporate governance;
drafting and negotiating non-disclosure agreements; advising HR on employment law issues; and
helping the company protect its lP portfolio. Additionally, Zack regularly assesses whether non-
compete and non-solicitation agreements are enforceable.
Recently, Zack has been leading HH Globals legal work associated with the company's expansion
into several new countries in Latin America.
Prior to joining HH Global, Zack worked as an in-house attorney at Allstate lnsurance Company for
eight years, serving in several divisions within Allstate's law department. At Allstate, Zack gained
invaluable experience in many areas of law, including: employment law; contracts; international law;
immigration; insurance compliance; and regulatory affairs.
Zack began his career as a litigator, flrst with the Cook County State's Attorney's Office and later
with the Chicago law firm of Bollinger, Ruberry & Garvey. Zack frequently draws on his litigation
experience to help his in-house clients foresee the risks and potential consequences oftheir
business decisions.
Zack is active in several legal organizations including the Association of Corporate Counsel and
Lawyers for the Creative Arts. And, Zack was recently appointed to the Community Relations
Commission for the Village of Deerfield.
