Responsibilities:
 Responsible for implementing, monitoring and improvement of Health, Safety &
Environment in compliance with ISO-14001:2004 & OHSAS-18001:2007
 To participate in the investigation of accidents / incidents and to carry out root cause
analysis and suggest recommendations to avoid reoccurrence.
 Planning and supervision of the regular inspection and testing of all fixed
firefighting equipment e.g. Fire water pumps ,Fire extinguishers, hoses and fire
protection/detection systems and other auxiliary equipment such as SCBA, SABA,
B A trolley, Fixed H2S, LEL gas detection system.
 Consult on other safety related issues, including interpretation of safety procedures and
regulations.
 Participate in ATA and project meetings.
 Carrying out of plant safety audit & work permit audit.
 Develop safety-training programs and train field personnel as required.
 Hands on experience of working safely in High H2S environment, and training
of personnel have to work in hazardous gas environment. Our one field has 8 %
H2S.
 Provide emergency response expertise and leadership to the oil & gas field by
supporting emergency response.
 Support the emergency response team during plant emergencies, to include field
tactical activities during emergencies.
 Develop mitigation strategy for onsite and offsite impact consideration during
emergencies, and manage logistical support needs for the Emergency Response Teams,
etc.
 Participate in area CAER (Community Awareness/Emergency Response) and mutual
aid organizations.

2.  Conduct the live fire practice & emergency response drills.
 Oversee readiness of fire & safety equipment in assigned area.
 Participate in review and development of emergency response procedures as
required.
