AMUSICCONCERTABOUTSPIRIT,
FRIENDSHIP,MEMORYANDCREATION
This recital expresses my connection to music in deeply loving and enjoying our
life and pursuing an honest nature in our hearts. Also, it expresses classical taste
and air in Yulin’s voice through different kinds of music including modern musical
and contemporary songs.
The first two sections will be classical opera arias with classical story telling
about life. It is where Yulin’s favorite music styles originate from. The second
section has three musical selections. We will see how the classical story telling
style promotes the modern love stories of daily life with two new songs
composed by Yihan, which are inspired by traditional Chinese music. These two
songs are based on Yulin’s favorite lyrics from Wanyi Fang and Xiong Ren, who
share similar values with Yulin.
