To whom it may concern
As a President of the programme “Professioni Contabili” of the School of Management and
Economics of Turin, I am writing to recommend Dott.ssa Yulia Gololobova as one of the brightest graduated
students from the Master programme “International accounting” of the School.
Ms. Yulia already had very good basis of accounting and finance analysis knowledge when she
attended my courses during the academic years 2012-2013. She showed excellent results in problem-solving
tasks, team work and case study presentations; she got the highest grade of the exams “Financial
management” and “Financial Accounting IAS/IFRS”. One of the differences from her peers was the ability
to see the tasks from all the sides and create clear understanding of what was requested and what methods
must be applied. Also Ms. Yulia’s presentations in the classes were always well prepared and well spoken;
she demonstrated the answers in compact logical ways so that the class could follow her easily.
Besides, Ms. Yulia has done practical training in the Department of Management of the School. The
project was consisted of several studies about the differences between International Financial Reporting
Standards and the National Russian ones. During 3 months of training Ms. Yulia successfully performed the
analysis of the accounting and legal data and concluded this work in her thesis. Being also the tutor of her
thesis, it should be admitted that Ms. Yulia is a hardworking person with an outstanding ability to read,
extract and contrast legal and economic information in 3 different languages. Her thesis included the
description of general accounting regulations, taxes and financial statements in Russia, accounting principles
in contrast with European ones, national standards vs IAS and as a conclusion the stage of convergence
process. It is an impressive research of current interest nowadays.
At the end, I would like to summarize Ms. Yulia Gololobova as a promising graduated student. I
believe her ability to carry out independent research and analysis is among the best at her ages and she will
be able to use and practice this knowledge efficiently. Therefore, I strongly recommend her as an excellent
specialist in accounting, analysis and audit field.
