1. Number
There are five types or kinds of Number:
1. Cardinal Number
is a number that says how many of something.
Examples: one, two, three, four, five, etcextra.
2. Ordinal Number
is a number that tells the position of something.
Examples: first, second third, fourth, fifth, (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th) , etcextra.
3. Digital Number
is a single symbol number that is used to make numeral.
Examples: o eight one three nine six nine four nine three nine two (0813 9694 9392) or
zero eight one three nine six nine four nine three nine two (0813 9694 9392).
4. Decimal Number:
is anumber which has a whole number and fractional part separated by a decimal point.
Examples: 0,5 (zero point five or o point five)
7.83 (seven point eight three).
5. Fraction
is a number that represents a part of a whole.
Examples: ½ (half or a half or one half)
¼ (quarter or a quarter or one quarter)
⅞ (seven eighth)
