3. INTRODUCTION
The basics needs of human existences are food ,clothing and shelter.
From times immemorial man has been taking efforts in order to improve
the standard of living.
The point of his efforts has been to provide an economic and efficient
shelter.
The reason of providing the shelter is to give the feeling of security and
responsibility.
The engineer has to keep in mind the municipal conditions ,building bye
laws ,environment , financial capacity , water supply , sewage arrangement
,provision of future , aeration, ventilation etc, in suggesting particular type
of building plan to any client.
4. MOTIVATION
In the current scenario ,construction of residential
buildings i.e. apartments remain top priority for the
builders.
The space available for the construction of individual
residential buildings is very less
We as a group are more interested in designing the
residential building which also helps our future.
6. OBJECTIVES
To plan the residential building as per IS codes.
To design the members of residential building.
To carry out an estimate of the project using
software.

9. AutoCAD or Computer Aided Design is
a very helpful tool in drafting and
designing any structure. AutoCAD uses
a Graphical User Interface for the
purpose of drafting and designing any
structure. The software has various
inbuilt tools for complex drafting. Also
AutoCAD can be used for 2D, 3D and
for perspective design.
With the help of AutoCAD all the
drafting for the project has been done.
AutoCAD
10. Layout of Stilt+7
Buildinpg Using AutoCad
The layout for the proposed building was
prepared, discussed and approved by
Prof. Asif M. Ansari. The layout was then
prepared using AutoCAD. The various
layouts were prepared and then later
discussed with the architect for error
correction.

12. Salient Features Of The Project:-
Separate entrances for all units
Combined lobby for all floors
All the work has been done in layers in AutoCAD, for easy editing and
viewing. Layers make it easy to manipulate each individual layer making it
visible and invisible for clarity as well as locking the layer to prevent editing
in them. The various layers that have been used are

17. MIT APP INVENTOR
The MIT App Inventor is a web application integrated
development environment originally provided by
Google, and now maintained by the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology (MIT). It allows newcomers to
computer programming to create application software
(apps) for two operating systems (OS): Android, and
iOS, which, as of 8 July 2019, is in final beta testing. It
is free and open-source software released under dual
licensing: a Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike
3.0 Unported license, and an Apache License 2.0 for the
source code.
18. It uses a graphical user interface (GUI) very similar to the
programming languages Scratch (programming language) and the
StarLogo, which allows users to drag and drop visual objects to
create an application that can run on Android devices, while an
App-Inventor Companion (the program that allows the app to run
and debug on) that works on iOS running devices are still under
development. In creating App Inventor, Google drew upon
significant prior research in educational computing, and work done
within Google on online development environments.
App Inventor also supports the use of cloud data via an experimental
Firebase Realtime Database component.
19. MIT APP INVENTOR HISTORY
The application was made available through request on July 12, 2010, and
released publicly on December 15, 2010. The App Inventor team was led by
Hal Abelson and Mark Friedman. In the second half of 2011, Google released
the source code, terminated its server, and provided funding to create The MIT
Center for Mobile Learning, led by App Inventor creator Hal Abelson and
fellow MIT professors Eric Klopfer and Mitchel Resnick. The MIT version was
launched in March 2012.
On December 6, 2013 (the start of the Hour of Code), MIT released App
Inventor 2, renaming the original version "App Inventor Classic" Major
differences are:
The blocks editor in the original version ran in a separate Java process, using
the Open Blocks Java library for creating visual blocks programming languages
and programming

22. CONCLUSION
The project includes the layout of Stilt+7 residential building
which is designed using Auto-cad and will be concuded by
estimation of project by using the software which is to be
designed in next part.
The project site is located on Khardi-Diva Road , Thane district
owned by Aashiyana CHS.
The ground floor will be having parking while the remaining
floors are divided in 4 flats each.
Each of the two apartments is of2BHK configuration. The
drawing of plan is =being made using Auto-Cad Software.
The software related to estimation of cost of projects similar
will be done in next part.
