Work Experience
World Wide Industrial and Systems Engineering | Junior Engineer Dec 2016 – Present
• Individually audited 3 MTN technical infrastructure sites in Kwa-Zulu Natal in accordance to ISO
(International Organisation for Standardisation) 27001 (Information Security). Findings were
presented to technical infrastructure managers at MTN Group where risk assessments were analysed
and mitigation plans laid out to prevent sites from ceasing to function.
• Managed the quality checking and bug identification of a newly-developed ISO E-learning website
whilst coordinating weekly with IT consultants in strategic meetings.
Smollan Group | Data Capturer and Analyst June 2016 (6 weeks)
A time and motion study was conducted at a retail store in Pretoria to analyse the activities of Smollan
merchandisers and field marketers, in order to improve the workers’ productivity. I also had the unique
opportunity to present my findings to executive Smollan engineers and HR managers and receive feedback
on it.
S4 Integration | Installation of conveyor systems Dec 2015 (3 weeks)
I was involved in the installation and line upgrade of pneumatic systems and conveyor equipment at the
Ford manufacturing plant in Silverton, Pretoria, for the manufacturing of the new Ford Everest.
Biecon Industrial Engineering | Bus transport work study July 2015 (3 weeks)

I was a part of a specific project team to manually capture the number of mine workers and passengers
who make use of a bus service in Rustenburg, Marikana and measure the bus adherence to route and
schedule. This was done to align the supply and demand of bus passengers and busses on certain routes.

Hobbies: I love music and being active. So, going to concerts and festivals is a huge passion of mine. I
performed rhythm guitar, as part of a band who participated at my highschool’s talent show.
I also adore travelling. Exploring new places and meeting diverse types of people is what makes life
interesting.
