Objective:
As a recent graduate in Computer Science, earning my B.S. degree with a concentration in Game Development,
my goal is to obtain a full-time entry level position at an established software or game development company.
Here I would be utilizing my object oriented development skills in Java, C# .Net, as well as my experience with
several software applications. My creativity and experience as a computer science major with various positions
shows I can excel and become a strong asset in several development positions.
Computer programming skills include:
C# .NET and C# Unity, Visual Studio IDE & Team Foundation Server, SQL, ASP.NET, Java, C++ with openGL,
Processing, Actionscript 3.0
Software:
Windows XP, Windows 7 and 10, Mac OSX, Unity Game Engine, Visual Studio 2010-2015, SQL Server
Management Studio, 3D Studio Max, FL Studio, Adobe Flash, Photoshop, Adobe Flash Builder, Microsoft Office
Suite, Eclipse, Game Maker, Famitracker, GarageBand, Sandcastle
Work Experience:
Ipreo May 2014 to September 2015
Junior Developer, Equity Book Building team; Raleigh, NC
Full time paid position
Worked on various projects and tasks within the Ipreo Equity Application
Gained a confident SQL foundation writing queries for customer requests and managing “fake” data for
development and fixing bugs
Tasks included reproducing found bugs and solving, implementing a solution, and testing the solution.
“Issuer View” Project: Worked closely with the Mobile team to write “services” in c# that enabled the
Mobile team to access certain data from the Equity Database for a mobile application. This application
allowed Issuers to see how their public deal was progressing on their mobile platform.
“Trading Brokers” admin page: Created a new page on the Equity Application that served as a way to
manage one of the many entities used. The “entity” here is the Trading broker. The page displayed all
trading brokers in a grid with the option to add, activate, deactivate, delete, and add contacts. The add
functionality would start with a Broker search, and then for each broker selected, a new Trading Broker
would be added to the grid. A similar sub-window was created for the contacts, where the user could
add, edit, and delete contacts.
A great exercise for learning asp.net and creating/managing data in SQL server. This was also good
experience for managing database objects in c# code as “entities” and implementing validation
across the page and the data.
Basic Equity and stock market terminology was acquired
