Guidelines to Completing Staff Application Form
Thank you for applying to YWAM – Nashville. In order to process your application, we must receive each of
the following items:
□ Staff Application Form: Please answer every question to the best of your knowledge. If one does not
apply to you, write N/A in the blank.
□ Application Fee: Please submit $25 (per applicant) by cash, check or money order to YWAM –
Nashville. You may do this in person, by mail or online at www.ywamnashville.org by clicking the
donate button. Please make a note on checks or online donation that the money is for an application
fee.
□ Three Reference Forms: Please fill out the top portion of each reference form and give one to your
pastor, youth pastor, elder or mentor. Give one reference form to a Christian friend or YWAM leader (if
involved with a YWAM school). And give one to a parent, employer, teacher, or friend.
Please give each reference a stamped envelope addressed to:
Youth With A Mission, Personnel Department
P.O. Box 58

□ Supplementary Questions: Please prayerfully and concisely answer the following questions on a
separate piece of paper.
1. What, specifically, has God said to you that leads you to believe you should apply to join YWAM
– Nashville staff at this time? What length of service at YWAM – Nashville do you anticipate
committing to?
2. Do you understand that YWAM – Nashville asks you to serve a two – year commitment which
does not include any time spent in another YWAM school?
3. What expectations do you have about serving at YWAM – Nashville? Has anyone talked with
you and suggested how you might be involved here? If so, who and how?
4. Describe your present relationship with the Lord. What has the Lord done in you during your
time as a student in YWAM? What are some of the areas you’ve grown in most?
5. How did God call you into missionary service and how long have you considered it?
6. What do you think is your calling? What do you think is your vision? Do you think that your
calling and vision fit into the corporate vision of YWAM – Nashville? If you have questions about
the corporate vision of YWAM – Nashville, please talk to the Campus Director.
7. What are your ministry and spiritual gifts? What areas of service do you most enjoy?
8. If you have any idea of what God may have you doing in five years’ time at or outside of YWAM
– Nashville, please describe what you think that may be.
9. If you are also applying to another YWAM base or other organization, please let us know which
one(s) and what the Lord is saying to you about those opportunities.
