3. BLUE RIDGE
MOUNTAINS
– GEORGIA
Fall foliage is at its peak in
the middle of October in the
Blue Ridge Mountains. This
scenic road trip takes
travelers through the
mountains and along part of
the Chattahoochee River.
Plan to stop at Brasstown
bald, the highest natural
point in Georgia, for the best

4. FINGER LAKES
– NEW YORK
This road trip is a wine lover’s dream! The Finger Lakes Wine
Country is home to more than 100 wineries, breweries and
distilleries in and around Lakes Keuka, Seneca, and Cayuga.
The Seneca Lake Wine Trail, situated in the heart of the
Finger Lakes wine region, offers visitors more than 35
wineries, cideries and breweries making it the perfect day tip
location. If wine isn’t your thing, the area is home to Watkins
Glen State Park. The State Park contains 19 waterfalls and
picturesque trails.

5. GREAT SMOKY
MOUNTAINS &
SHENANDOAH
NATIONAL PARK
– NORTH
CAROLINA &
VIRGINIA
Officially known as the Blue Ridge Parkway, this road trip
takes you through the heart of both North Carolina and
Virginia. The trip covers approximately 470 miles and
connects the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in
North Carolina to the Shenandoah National Park in
Virginia. Stop at one of the scenic overlooks or hike one
of the trails scattered throughout the drive. End your fall
road trip with a stop at Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello
and see where the third President of the United States
resided after his presidency.

6. ROUTE 6
–PENNSYLVANIA
Route 6 in northern
Pennsylvania is a fall foliage
viewers dream. The highway
runs across the entire state
allowing travelers to hit
multiple foliages viewing hot
spots along the way. The PA
Grand Canyon, Worlds End
State Park and Loyalsock Trail
offer beautiful views of
