- THIS IS OUR NEW ABSTRACT FOR THIS WEBINAR: It seems like every advertisement you see or hear has something to do with Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning. The truth is, not everyone knows how to get started or use all the great tools we see on TV and the web. And like most things, figuring out how to actually use AI can be daunting; there are not only lots of AI tools out there but also different types. So what tools are available and how do you leverage them? The good news is that AI and ML tools are literally on-line and ready to be used by pretty much anyone. Join Dale Tuttle for this webinar as he talks about: Using Microsoft Azure as a Platform, the types of AI tools out there and the differences between them; Identifying a plan to figure out which tools you may need; How to establish AI capabilities in your own firm.

- AI is not new. Weâve been in a journey for decades to augment human capabilities in one of those three areas. Think about the first calculators, which could do better than humans even with mechanical options like the Grant calculator in 1877. Electronics then opened a new frontier for AI. Natural experiences like Voder, a machine able to mimic human voice. Or first attempts on reasoning machines. Then computers, bringing graphical user interfaces, voice recognition or self driving cars as early as 1994. Then why are we talking about AI now? The progress all these decades has been linear, with even some setbacks. However, three things are dramatically changing the speed of innovation: Advances in AI algorithms, in particular deep learning with neural networks. Huge compute power available in the cloud. Big data, able to train these algorithms with huge sets of data.
- A bot is an app that users interact with in a conversational way using text, graphics (cards), or speech. It may be a simple question and answer dialog, or a sophisticated bot that allows people to interact with services in an intelligent manner using pattern matching, state tracking and artificial intelligence techniques well-integrated with existing business services. You can choose to use your favorite development environment or command line tools to create your bot in C# or Node.js. Microsoft provides tools for various stages of bot development that you can use to build your bot to get you started.
