SCF is designed as a central point of access to over 220,000 geodetic control stations and PLSS corners in Wisconsin.

The county is the custodian for PLSS corners within its boundaries. Progress towards updated PLSS monuments and coordinates varies widely across the state, with some counties having completed remonumentation with survey grade coordinates, while others are at various stages of completion.
CLICK = As mentioned earlier, we’re showing close to 200,000 county PLSS records across the state; of those close to 62,000 PLSS corners have coordinates with “survey grade” accuracy.
