Re Mr William Hoang.
I can confirm that Mr William Hoang was a research intern with us at the Institute of
Economic Affairs in July and August of 2013 for a period of six weeks. During this
time he took part in a series of academic events, including lectures, seminars, round
table discussions and debates, as well as undertaking a supervised research project
and delivering a presentation on his own work. His research was of good quality and
he was a thoughtful and active participant in discussions and debates, both formal
and informal. He got on well with all of his fellow students and the staff and was a
valuable contributor to the work of the IEA while he was with us. He has good
research and presentation skills and expresses himself clearly and succinctly. He will
be a valuable addition to any academic course and I am sure that he will be able to
pursue further study with great success.
