To Whom It May Concern:
As a rising junior majoring in Accounting and Finance, I feel I am very well qualified for this
intern position. My Accounting, Financing, and Business classes have prepared me to become a
significant asset. This internship would serve as an incredible learning experience to prepare me
for a career in Accounting and Finance. I separate myself from other candidates through the
leadership and time management skills as well as tremendous discipline I have acquired through
life as an NCAA Division 2 wrestler. I have managed to qualify for the NCAA championships
while placing seventh in 2013, eighth in 2015, and second in 2016 earning myself and more
importantly my team,All-American honors. I know how to perform at a high level athletically
while also maintaining a 3.35 GPA as dual major, earing First Team Academic All-American
honors in 2015 and 2016.
My work ethic, critical thinking skills, preparing journal entries and financial statements, along
with knowledge of the importance the information of the financial statements represent my
strongest qualities. Throughout my career as a student athlete I have always been able to balance
the rigorous training that goes along with being an All-American college wrestler as well as
maintaining a primary focus on my studies. I am skilled and knowledgeable in accounting,
finance, and business along with the use of Microsoft Office, H&R Block TaxCut, and
QuickBooks.
I grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania made up of working class, tough-nosed individuals.
The work ethic I have built in life gives me a driving force to never fail and ensures that I give
my all in every one of my undertakings. I feel I can be a very valuable asset to your organization
and bring my discipline as well as new ideas each day as an intern. I look forward to talking to
you further and sharing my experiences and interests. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Very Respectfully,
William Bohince
