the little they can do to face the central problems of human survival. They have my profound admiration, but not my consent: there is no good reason

There are more than 7 billion people on Earth and counting presently, and roughly one in eight of us does not have enough to eat. The question "how
many people the Earth can contain and sustain" is a long–standing one that becomes more intense as the world 's population–and our use of natural

Everyone has the right to life, freedom, and security. Human rights are the basic freedoms and rights that people are entitled to. All around the world
people are being mistreated and the authorities are not respecting people and their human rights. Human rights are essential in order to have equality,
freedom, and order. These rights, such as freedom of speech, the right to be free from prejudice, and simply the right to live are being violated all

Women faced major oppression, as well as the poor. As the Borgen Project states, " Females and the poor... often denied legal rights and knowingly
oppressed by the country's political entities." Women and the poor were not treated equally with the men and the rich. Sudan also faced drastic issues
involving human rights. Bloody massacres occurred, taking the lives of 100,000 refugees. Also, Sudanese officers continued to violently disband
protests and arrested activists and protesters. By the law enforcement officers doing this, they disrespected the Sudanese people's right to freedom of
speech. These are just a few of the many places where human rights are being violated by authoritative figures.
Human rights are not being handled well by police officials, but what about the country as a whole? Several countries around the world have signed
human rights treaties but the most influential country seems to be the United States. The U.S. is known for having a lot of police brutality, especially
to African American males. Even with all this going on, the United States, as a nation is big on promoting equality and human rights. The U.S. is also
supporting one of the most basic human rights, the right to live. Many states in the past couple of years have gotten rid of the death penalty. According
to the Death Penalty Information Center, 19 states have abolished the death penalty. Hopefully, this will influence many more places to get rid of the

Mental health is a central aspect of human welfare and must be considered as an integral part of policy related to social care and human rights
(World Health Organization, 2005). Currently, more than 450 million people worldwide are affected with a mental disorder (WHO Mental Health

people tends to be higher in developing countries, it is still a concern in developed nations. Homelessness is a state where someone lacks regular
shelter. The term includes people who do not have a home and sleep on the streets, as well as those whose basic nighttime residence is a homeless

Yemen. At the age of six, Tahani was forced to be married to a man more than four times her age. Tahani's youngmarriage resulted in a lack of
education and regular subjection to beatings and sexual assault by her husband (Sinclair). While conditions for women in developed countries have
drastically improved over the last few centuries, in third–world areas, stories like Tahani's are still very common. Despite advances in equality, girls all
over the world are still forced into marriage at very young ages, denied their right to education, and made the victims of domestic violence and rape.
Millions of girls each year are forced into marriage as children, often to men several times their age. The rates of girls being forced into marriage under
the age of eighteen in developing countries around the world is as much as one in five, and as many as one in nine girls are married by the age of

education, health care and climate change and destruction of natural resources. Believe it or not we are the cause of all these disasters, and we can

are not getting proper education and some even getting no education. Why? Well because they are girls, or their parents can't afford to send them to

Europe also have kids who lack education. It is estimated that 70 million children around the world don't have access to an education. Without the
basic education, it is nearly impossible to get a job, without a job you can't earn money, and in a world like this without money it's impossible to
