Since its establishment in 1979, Western Extrusions
has produced superior aluminum extrusion products
and services through a dedicated team of industry
professionals. Western Extrusions also supports the
One Wing Foundation, a Texas-based entity that
gives a voice to families who have lost an infant
during pregnancy or shortly after birth.
Founded in 2015, the One Wing Foundation focuses
on instilling hope and healing while providing financial
assistance to other organizations to help bereaved
parents overcome their loss. These organizations
deliver physical, medical, and grief recovery support
to parents who have experienced loss.
3. One Wing Foundation
To receive funding from the One Wing
Foundation, organizations must meet a series of
eligibility criteria such as nonprofit status, a
proven track record of helping bereaved families,
and good overall financial standing. Research
organizations located outside of Texas will receive
consideration under the condition that they
directly serve Texas residents. Applicants must
also submit copies of a series of official
documents, including most recent financial audit,
501(c)(3) letter, and a brochure, newsletter, or
other media. Grants are awarded annually with
deadlines closing in the beginning of each year.
