- Nintex is 10 years old! 2007 where it all begun. All about creating a workflow designer that was easy to use. It was a success! Nintex sits on top of the SharePoint technologies, same for On-Prem & O365. Bring forward a Workflow Designer, Forms Designer and a Mobile App for bringing your forms with you.
- Expanded our products around 2012 Started to connect to more providers e.g. SF, Twitter, Dropbox via Nintex Connectors. Brought in basic analytics & started to utilise Microsoft Azure.
- Last 2 years, moved toward an Enterprise Cloud Workflow Platform Evolution to a platform. Expanded our suite and started to unite. Bringing in more connectors & expanding the suite to include: App Studio, Nintex Hawkeye, Nintex Workflow Cloud which we will discuss a bit later on.
- We are platform now. Not individual products. A Process is bigger than just the workflow design! Provide example process through the platform : Forms > WF > Task > Mobile > DocGen > DocuSign > Submit to another system. The experience is even better through the subscription model so you can have access to everything across the platform. More connectors, app studio, Doc Gen, API’s / SDK’s to extend the products. Hawkeye – Our analytics platform Xchange – Part of our community platform for sharing your Nintex Resources, Templates, UDA’s etc. Key Points - Communication - Reusable – Sharable – Embeddable.
- Where are we now. We sit between people, processes and information.. Every company has its departments, each of these will have its own processes powered by information sitting in a number of different respositories. But lets Look at these Needs Pain Points in a different Prospective We have: The People Process and the content they use People do not operate synchronised manner The processes they need are human and not data centric They need content from everywhere to work, which may not be defined in advance Our philosophy is automate human-centric processes that are interactions not transactions. We believe in we bring People, Process and Content together How we do this? I’ve highlighted 3 topics for discussion will explain the why and the how it’s done!
- In order to answer this question we should assess the business needs and pain points. There are a lot of similarities in terms of the needs and pain points that companies face on a daily bases For example: Becoming more efficient, Gathering relevant information and Improving the flexibility for field works

- This image shows the Nintex Workflow Cloud architecture and shows how it relates to other areas of the platform as well as other sources of information. This is our platform and our architecture which allows us to do far more. When we release new functionality – we plan to bring it across the entire platform
- In todays fast-paced environment businesses we want to capture information however we want to ensure that we aren’t repeating work For example: Information can be spread across the organisation in different sharepoint sites, different systems. The ability to capture a range of information or lookup to information that already exists
- With Nintex Forms you get a: Browser based designer that is embedded within SharePoint and Office 365 The forms designers is a natural drag and drop interface You can integrate with databases and web services to extend forms to on-prem and cloud applications beyond SharePoint and Office 365 You can custom brand the forms with custom logos, artwork, and layouts And more importantly, you can design forms that are tied to workflows
- Starting with Mobility?? What is the definition of the mobility?? To have the ability move or be moved freely. In todays fast-paced environment businesses have limited time to capture information and can not be restricted to working in one location. For example: An engineer working offsite in a remote location would need to document the work being carried out in some cases the information could be sensitive. Q: Pat how could we assist business to become mobile whilst giving the access to secured information?

- How about Generating Documents At my pervious employer We had to send out proposals to our clients. In order to do this we would copy and past information from various data source, which meant that being human we would make mistakes. This is common in businesses with manual processes. Q: Pat how can I prevent these errors from recurring?
- Lets have a look at Data Driven Insights Data is hitting us left, right and centre. Look at Uber, the amount of data they collect is tremendous. Location of their riders, date and time information, routes, contact information. Businesses collect massive amount of information, but what is being done with it? In most cases, very little or nothing. Everyone is talking about big data, analytics, but only a handful use the information to their advantage. Q: Pat how can we use this data to our advantage?
