In 1987, he joinsGruppoLepetit,pharmaceutical business of the Dow Chemical Company,andperforms
supply chainresponsibilities bothinItalyand abroad, in the headquartersandinthe pharmaceutical
manufacturingsite inAnagni forfouryears.He returnsto Milan at the endof 1995 as SupplyChainDirector
for the three manufacturingsites,one researchcentre andthe HQ.He is incharge of Demand
Management, Productionand ProcurementPlanningandScheduling,TransportandDistribution,
Purchasingand Procurementandcontributes tothe company development,now calledSanofi.
Aftera shortexperienceinSorin Biomedical asVice President Global Logistics,inyear2000 he joins
Faustfarm,specializedcompanyinPharmaceutical LogisticsasOperative Director.
In the followingyearsthe CompanyisinitiallyincorporatedbyExel,global Logisticsleader,andin January
2006 by DHL he becomes OperationsDirectorforall BusinessUnits.
In January 2010, he isappointed Vice PresidentOperationsExcellence until May2011 whenDSCacquires
EDF, specializedcompanyintemperature controlledtransportof diagnostic,medical andpharmaceutical
productsand V.De Amici becomes the General Managerof the LSHC division,incharge of the LSHC DSC’s
Logisticsandthe Transport and Distributionactivities of EDF. InOctober2016 DSC acquiresMIT, Italian
companyleaderinadvancedlogisticservicesof hightechnological content anditsLSHCbusinessbecomes
part of hisresponsibilities.
