what we learnt in this internship .

• In this we got opportunity to learn both office & site work.
3. In this we have many departments to work but we get
trained in department of Quantity Surveying .
• What is quantity surveying & estimation ?
Any One can say
In simple words we can say that , Calculation of amount
of materials needed and how much it cost it.
• Now a days it can be done easily using softwares like
Building costing &estimation and MS excel etc..
• We trained to take quantity surveying by manualy using
building plans .

5. • We have worked and trained in Two different places .
MarakanamTN.
Ramatheertham,nellore,AP.
In both areas we have done the same type of
hatchery project .
Both in coastal areas and beach sand .
6. SITE WORK
The below are the works we have done in IPT.
• Giving level using AUTOLEVEL .
• Quantity checking and materials present in site.
• Every day labour counting and assigning works as per
project plan.
• Cost and data analysis.
• Monitoring building construction .
• Testing plastering works.
• Snag list preparing.
9. • Auto level is an instrument used to give and check the
level of construction needed .
• It was an advanced instrument of Dumpy level we
have used early.
• The setting and working of autolevel is simillar to the
dumpy level.
10. • There are two types of polyethylene sheet.
Low density sheet (LDP)
High density sheet(HDP)
17. • Power traveller is an machine used for finishing the
concrete flooring.
• It consists of two types are
Rough finishing PT.
Smooth finishing PT.
18. These are all the some materials , instruments, and machines
we have seen and worked with that in the site .
We have learnt more in this internship and it was a great
opportunity for us to cherish the good experience in construction
field.
