Richa Tilwani, a student at Dezyne E'cole College, created a print development project using geometry. She ideated designs within 3" x 3" squares using shapes and lines arranged in different ways. She selected 5 ideas and repeated them using monochromatic, complementary, and neutral color schemes. Using Photoshop, she generated the prints and applied them to a shift dress to create prints focusing on different moods like friendly, vital, energetic, and calm using repetition and single complementary color schemes. The project was submitted to Dezyne E'cole College and checked by the principal.

5. PRINT DEVELOPMENT
Print development is a type of technique which we can apply on the fabric through various procedures. It can be screen printing,
block printing, hand printing. In print development geometry plays an important role. To develop any new print we have to use
different shapes and lines, arranging them in different manner will create a new design.
Print development generate the mood according to the consumer choice, which would help the customer and helps them choice
more and more. Many more prints can be used by different procedures on the fabric.
6. PRELIMNARY CASE STUDY
We are assigned a task to work with geometry and using a square of size 3” x 3”, we had to inscribe the idea inside. It nearly 15
such ideas using geometry inscribed inside the square. Had to be ideated from this ideated squares we had to select any 5 idea
and than repeat them through simple repetition.
After this repetition we had to check this idea with monochromatic colours, complimentary colour and neutral colour scheme in
5 selected ideas. Followed by use of photoshop for generating prints further and finally applying the same on shift dress
