STARTUP-ERP PILOT PROJECT
This is a proposed project under the IT Division and below is the key features and ideology to support the project
1. Define company structure that makes it easy to accommodate for different types of technologies,
products, service offerings keeping client facing services same and agnostic to any products.
2. Company is based on general roles based on the project, product or consultation offering which has all
abstract templates to later on fill in the details as per the actual project, product or consultation job
received. I call this FACTORY.
3. FACTORY is run by Board and Company owners and driven by a vision, mission and goals to take the
company forward to a better revenue without compromising salary or any bias , hidden agenda of
stakeholders
4. FACTORY has no divisions at the top, it has an abstract layer that allows free transformations,
maintaining agility and velocity that will meet the newer products, technologies, newer staff and assets
that can be reused or sold if not using them.
5. FACTORY has GUEST ROOMS / INPUT- OUTPUT GATES where clients interact and has a COCKPIT facility
to see how the jobs are done, processes followed, workers profile, merit and certifications to support
their work and matching it to the project assigned.
6. FACTORY owners / project managers visit the rooms/ gates based on client schedules to sign on the
project work.
7. FACTORY workers are all equal and do their job based on their talent and earn money equally (almost
same, no big diff, marginal diff of say 20%). This allows workers to concentrate on work and not on job
hopping, using jacks for pay raise or other ways to make more money
8. FACTORY is governed by values, ethics and open doors policies and is audited mainly by external
agencies and they don’t cook false information.
9. FACTORY ERP is tech-agnostic, worker-agnostic, and products - services agnostic; it has the capacity to
take on new projects, workers or technology

stages from Sales to Business to Technical pipelines and blueprints with enriched templates as it passes
through various stages. All these gates are versioned, documented and persisted for any reversals and
re-dos.
12. Workers having different expertise are deployed at these various stages. As most of these are software
based business processes, only one business person can do the job and hand over to technical worker.
13. FACTORY uses agile templates and will generate logs and burn charts and foresees that there are no
wastages, or too many re-dos that can spoil the work. Testing happens in a versioned, semi-automatic
mode and can handle multiple jobs in parallel.
14. FACTORY has an end of project phase triggered by the quality inspector and the end product is moved to
OUT GATES for final inspections and hand over.
15. FACTORY ERP handles all the major processes and STARTUP ERP is a proposed package that handles and
manages most of the physical labor and non-technical staff duties.

STARTUP-ERP DETAILS
This is a All-in-One mini-package mainly meant to automate the processes and is intended for a startup investor to
investment minimum capital not exceeding $ 1,000 inclusive of licenses, initial setup cost, first year maintenance and
free support.
This ERP has open sourced, and customized to make it general ERP for any small business to operate. It includes many
abstract layers, business and technical gates on top of the COTS products. This ERP is easy to use and business owners
will be able to follow the wizards and help files in setting up and operating the system. It will have modules that start
from company -structuring, accountants, auditors, crm, scm, banking interfaces, taxes modules. It will use open source
or minimum licensed software like Office, Excel, ppt and pdf. It will be flexible to accommodate change requests, project
related work packages, worker profiles + certifications and easy to use GUI.
This ERP can be developed in-house or at partner facility based on the project needs. A working paper, model is to be
generated for further progressing on this concept
