2. The character I am aiming to portray is
a male whom is intimidating,
dominating and devilish. He is the
performer of my music video, who as
well as communicating with the
audience is also speaking to my actress
who plays a vulnerable teenage girl.
The man causes the girl to overthink
her mysterious ‘regret’ causing her to
become increasingly stressed and
depressed. To highlight the man’s
dominating and intimating powers, he
will be wearing all black to make him
appear scary. The actor’s hair will not
be specifically styled however make-up
will be applied to give an extra horror
and devilish element.

6. My actor will wear a simple plain black t-shirt so that the majority of his body will
blend into the pitch black background. I will only be including close-up and extreme
close-up shots of my actor therefore a complicated costume is unnecessary. The
darkness of the t-shirt will behold connotations of authority, evil and mystery which
are all characteristics I want emphasised to the audience. The make-up applied upon
the actors face will include possibly black eyeshadow, pale powder and dark bronzer.
The pale powder will give a smooth complexion in addition to making the skin appear
almost deceased. The bronzer applied to the cheekbones and jawline will draw
attention via shadows to these areas of the face creating a skull effect. I am debating
using black eyeshadow to create an intense amount of darkness around the actor’s
eyes, which I am unsure whether it will be too much or not yet.
