Goals:
A platform for HR colleagues to exchange best practice,
experience and ideas for supporting women in their careers. We
will maximize resources and generate innovation by creating
synergies and developing joint initiatives.
Target Group:
HR colleagues from Erste Group (initially Holding, EBOe, and Austrian
subsidiaries)

14. WoMentoring
Goals:
Mentoring is based on exchanging experience and know-how. It
strengthens personal leadership competence and builds confidence.
Mentees build networks throughout the organization and receive
feedback and coaching from an experienced leader.
Target Group:
Mentors: female and male leaders (Holding, EBOe and subsidiaries)
Mentees: talented women who aspire to a leadership role or female
managers who want to take their career to the next level.
This initiative is being piloted in a small group in 2015 and will be fully developed
for the Womens Hub in 2016 based on lessons learned.

Goal:
To have measures that would support flexible career paths after „time-

with the Ashridge working group, planning for 2015

We support change projects which impact our work environment,
our organizational culture, etc.
We support an open exchange of experience with responsible
parties in the organization, offer inputs and solutions, safeguard the
interests of employees, and apply trends and best practices for Erste
Group.
We encourage motivation and constructive discussion regarding
changes and ask for space for innovative work/experimentation.
• In doing so we create synergies and bring added-value to existing

20. Generation Management
Challenges
• Demographic changes require new approaches to meet new demands
and expecations;
• Multi-generational teams (there will be 5 generations in the labor force
by 2020, Wirtschaftsblatt 13.2.2014);
• Erste has to be an attractive employer for all generations;
• Qualification and knowledge go hand-in-hand.
Goal
To have a concept for generation management which can be implemented,
and to raise awareness of the topic throughout the organization.
