 International Tax
– The role includes the preparation of forms and calculation of Income and taxes of international subsidiaries of US
organizations for IRS (United States) reporting purposes.
– Includes working on softwares like CorpTax, Vertex, etc. and internal tools like Deloitte Compliance Workpapers. The job
includes extracting information from financial books of accounts,categorizing a foreign subsidiary for recognizing the return
type and preparing various forms for reporting purposes like Form 5471, 8865, 8858 etc.
– Identify differences between US GAAP and IRS reporting and post a reclass and Tax adjustments accordingly.
– Coordinate with US counterparts, seniors and otherteam members for completing the engagement.
 Global Employment Service (Internal Rotation)
– Preparation of Tax Return of US Individuals. The role requires the determination of the filing status and preparation of an
individual return based on it.
– I worked on softwares like Global Advantage and CCH Axcess for preparation of Form 1040 and various Form prepared
along with Individual return for Federal and State filing purpose.
– Also won the “Spot Award” for the quality and quantity of return prepared during the time of rotation.
