It is my great pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Ms. Vanessa Cook, the
Administrative Associate in the Bagwell College of Education Dean’s Office and who has assisted
me in the Office of Global Engagement successfully.
As the Director of Global Engagement, I am responsible for all international programs and
initiatives in the Bagwell College of Education. One of the key programs is International Student
Teaching, which provides the student teachers a semester long student teaching abroad
opportunity. Ms. Cook has been assigned to assist me in all global engagement related programs
and she has been a tremendous asset to me and my programs. Ms. Cook is always very efficient
and effective in all work assigned to her and she is an excellent communicator both face to face
and in writing.
In assisting me with the International Student Teaching Program, Ms. Cook has presented
information to potential students who are interested in the program via information sessions,
individual meetings and email communications. She presents the information with enthusiasm and
clarity. She also follows up with students when needed. She obtains additional information for
students when they request it and she is always ready to tackle new tasks assigned to her.
Ms. Cook is a very creative, compassionate and talented individual who enjoys working with
people, planning events and implementing her plans. She always carries a smile when interacting
with people, completes tasks in a highly efficient manner, and uses technology skillfully. Further,
she is highly committed to helping students, faculty and staff to the best of her ability and has
excellent rapport with everyone she encounters. I can always rely on her when I need assistance
and support.
In conclusion, I highly recommend Ms. Vanessa Cook for any position she is seeking without
reservation. I am confident that her dedication, skills, and experience will substantively contribute
to the success of your organization.
