This document provides an agenda for a Uyuni Community Hours meeting on November 27th, 2020. The agenda includes discussions on running Uyuni on CentOS, new features in Uyuni 2020.11 like Salt CVE fixes and power management capabilities, documentation for cluster plugins, and a survey on improving Uyuni documentation. The meeting will conclude with a Q&A session. Slides from the presentation will be published on GitHub afterwards.

• Salt CVE fixes included
– They were also released as patch for 2020.09 (our only exception to the rolling release model)
• Power management
– Redfish (via fencing agents)
– XML-RPC API for IPMI and Redfish
• CentOS 7/8 ppc64le enabled
– Client tools for ppc64le. Same feature set as x86_64.
• Prometheus:
– Node Exporter updated to 1.0.1
– Exporter Exporter (reverse proxy) now available for CentOS 7, CentOS 8 and Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
• Virtualization: create & boot & provision using Yomi, KickStart or AutoYaST profiles

• First full translation shipping: Japanese
• Web UI themes
– Expect documentation on how to create your own theme very soon

• Think of “cluster” as “stuff I want to happen all together and/or in an orchestrated
way”
• You just need to write a Salt module and YAML file(s) for the UI
