Utahloy International School Guangzhou celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2019. The formal graduation ceremony took place in the school's Multi-Function Hall and featured musical performances by graduates and the school orchestra. Special guests, the school principal, and graduates gave speeches. Afterward, graduates took photos with families and teachers. The celebration dinner followed at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, with a buffet, entertainments organized by graduates, and musical performances. However, the schedule ran late and there was not enough photo time at the end. The author congratulates the Class of 2019 and wishes them the best in the future.

2. Utahloy celebrated to teachers, students, families, and
special guests came together the graduation of the Class of
2019. The formal graduation took place in the Multi-
Function Hall, and the celebration dinner followed at the
Ritz Carlton Hotel. During the formal graduation, some of
the graduates showcased some excellent musical
performances, as well as the whole school orchestra, which
I personally thought was one of the most synchronized
performance that I have ever heard at UISG. Besides, there
were also several meaningful speeches given by our
special guests, school principal and two of the graduates.
After the smooth progression of formal graduation, there
was a short photo time for the graduates to capture that
relieving moment of euphoria with their families, friends,
and teachers.

4. Followed by the celebration dinner, here was the real
highlight of the night. While delicious buffet was provided
with a wide range of cuisines, some great entertainments
were also organized mostly by the graduates. It was an
opportunity to take some time reflecting their time at UISG,
and of course, their achievements. I thought it was very nice
to see one of the graduates who has prepared certificates
for everyone of what they were known for, entitled “Mostly
likely to…..” Despite it made all of them embarrassed, I
believe it would be the only one certificate they will ever be
awarded in their entire life. There were even more lovely
speeches by the graduates, as well as musical
performances by the Gold diggers band, which
unfortunately is also their final time performing at UISG. The
venue fired up even more by various memorial videos, as
well as free dance time lifting everyone up by the music
chosen by the DJ.

6. Although I have attended the graduation to celebrate my brother, I think it
was also a great chance for me to preview what would my graduation be
like next year. I thought that the event was arranged quite nicely, but one
area which I think could be improved is the time distribution. In fact, the
schedule was off the time quite a bit and eventually ended up much
delayed than I expected. Hopefully, I wish next year’s graduation of the
Class of 2020 would start much more earlier so that more photo time will
be given because I honestly thought people were all in rush getting onto
the bus transporting to The Ritz Carlton Hotel, and not being able to take
proper photos.
Lastly, I would like to congratulate all of the graduates of the Class of 2019,
and wish you all the best in the future!
