2. Agriculture Bills 2020
Parliament gave its nod for two Agriculture Bills.
Mr.Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Minister for Food Processing

• Farmers Produce Trade and Commerce Bill 2020 (
Promotion and Facilitation)
• Farmers ( Empowerment and Protection) Agreement of
Price Assurance and Farm Service Bill 2020
• Essential Commodities (Amendment Bill) Bill

4. Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has assured that
the Minimum Support Price mechanism will stay, and
adequate protection of land ownership was in place to
protect farmer interests.
