• Dotlines Bangladesh is a very large multinational company. It has
multiple district of operation globally.
• I have experienced an amazing working environment in brand
marketing team in Dotlines .
• Dotlines Bangladesh is run by the CEO Hasan Mehedi, who is the
ideal person who drives the group's expansion across diverse
verticals and terrains globally.
• In my marketing team, our leader was Mr.Muntasir Ahmed. He is
one of the pioneer in this tech marketing field .
• In my marketing operations there were day-to-day tasks. There were
weekly tasks and there were monthly task. So mostly we used to
forecast our marketing descriptions in quarterly model.
• We had to make our brand calendar that is how we would run our
brand marketing strategies and also how we would design our future
marketing framework.
18. Operational Details
• I had to create contents and deliver it to the agencies. The marketing
agencies, those who used to do all those, sort of promotional work and
press releases. Then we had to check out our contents that what public will
see.
• Testing whether it be consensus oriented or not? And also testing is it what
we are branding being sold or not .
• Monitoring the consumer market via in house data collected was our
weekly task .
• I had to make Consumer engagement posts and designs. We had to make
the communication with the consumers through different AI generated
mails and teleservices .
• There were a lot of fundamental belief to carried out in branding while
branding any sort of product. So it was tough and we had to actually
change it over and over again because contents , it gets exhausted in the
internet after a while, and so that's why we had to make new contents all
the time , recycle it.
29. Functions of the Department
• Dotlines Bangladesh consists of three different
types of Branch of their marketing team . Such
as :
• Brand Marketing Team ,
• Performance Marketing Team ,
• Product Marketing Team .
30. Analysis of Industry Market
• One of the first correspondence programs in the U.S. was developed at
Pennsylvania State University in 1892, where the main mission was to provide
higher education access to remote and rural areas [Banas , 1998]
• To keep pace with the demand generated by the GI Bill in the 1950s, prestigious
universities such as Columbia, Chicago, and Penn State launched several distance
education programs.
• Distance education in the U.S. slowly re-emerged in the 1980s.
• The transformation of the once disparaged distance education approach into the
modern E-learning industry accelerated in the 1990s, with the advent of the World
Wide Web, widespread access to the Internet, the lower cost of PC ownership, and
broader computer literacy.
• The convergence of information and communication technologies led to the
widespread growth in the popularity of technology-supported distributed learning.
Educational institutions and private enterprises ventured into initiatives that
leverage the many available technologies, such as videoconferencing, groupware,
and Web-based interactive applications, extending the classroom beyond its normal
boundaries [Alavi , 2002]
31. Analysis of Industry Market
• Before 2007 internet was not as good as it is today .
• In 2007, the rise of the Wi-Fi Internet just made the place and also accordingly
social media started to create itself and people started communicating through
social media and it was going fast and it was a cheap communication method and
this is where the emergence of E-learning comes up.
• The Internet is has got cheaper globally and also the optical fiber connections
globally made it much more visible to the people and also the Internet usage risen
up after 2007. And from then, in 2013, we have seen the real time communication,
evaluation, evolution and the facility AI got into the communications , since then
we have even seen the evolution of smartphones that people can talk real time over
phone looking at each other in a video call.
• In 2020, in pandemic we have faced a lot of a global crisis where people cannot
move out of house people. Students cannot go to their classes and student cannot do
other things. So therefore it was a method when class from home started so students
started to work on their homework and other studies and skill learning Applications
from home
32. Analysis of Industry Market
• It took only one or two years the worldwide
people started to adopt this virtual classroom
method and also the Internet is the most
highest, fastest mode ever in the century it is.
• Now in 2022 where people are much more
friendly to the online classes ever than before
and that we have seen the up rise of low-cost
courses all over the world from different
universities.
33. Analysis of Industry Market
• It is a very big vast industry and I as I worked
in Ghoori learning, I have seen thousands of
people actually do our courses, try to learn our
courses, completes our courses and they tend
to buy more courses as they are trying to adopt
and learn new skills from Ghoori Learning.
Dr.Marufa Akter, Head of Department,
34. Finding peer group/main competitors
• From the perspective of Ghoori Learning
market analysis , it considers Udemy ,
KhanAcademy , 10 Minutes School and
Shikho as our competitor in the e-learning
industry .
35. Ghoori Learning’s implication of
Learning Theories
• Behaviorist Learning Theory : Behaviorist learning
theory is a form of learning theory that focuses on the
relationship between behavior and learning. Learning
occurs through the application of rules, instructions or
models. Behaviorists emphasize that it is important to
study learners' actions in order to understand their
learning processes (Skinner,1976) ) In Ghoori Learning
I have observed it to monitor students’ evaluation and
provide them knowledge or skills according to their
accomplishments . Thereby I can say it conditionally
fulfills the Behaviorist learning theory .
36. Ghoori Learning’s implication of
Learning Theories
• Constructivist Learning Theory : Constructivism is a
form of learning theory that focuses on the learner's
construction of meaning. Constructivism holds that
humans are active agents who actively construct their
own knowledge through interaction with the
environment. Thus, constructivism emphasizes learner
agency in the construction of knowledge, rather than
solely relying on teacher-centered instruction. (Elliott ,
2000). Ghoori Learning offers their students with
Guidelines , Improvements , Tests , Evaluation in a
constructive way . Where students are in a mode of
constructive learning .
37. Disscussion
• Dotlines Bangladesh Limited is a notable tech-
based worldwide organization in Bangladesh.
Contrasted with others, they lay out a fortification
in the IT business in a brief timeframe. As I have
worked in Dotlines Bangladesh’s brand
marketing, I felt like it is the most yearning and
rising tech organization in Bangladesh with no
question . They keep up with great class of
corporate governance and furthermore they will
generally offer the most user friendly
administrations
38. Conclusion
• It is my pleasure to study in Global Studies
and Governance and work on a marketer’s
career . I learned how digital marketing works
and also how technological products and
services are branded . I worked in Dotlines
Bangladesh for three months and been through
different strategy application and observing
their outcomes . I learned how functional
marketing works in real life business aspects .
