3. About CyberBee
In 1996, Linda C. Joseph, creator of CyberBee,
was inspired to create a website for teachers and
students that presented the links to the best
educational resources on the Internet.
For 18 years, CyberBee has served as not only a
link to other resources, but a toolbox of ideas and
lesson plans to inspire teachers.
4. Linda C. Joseph
Joseph has over 30 years experience as a Media
Specialist for public schools. She is an American
Memory Fellow.
In addition, she has taught educators how to
integrate Technology into the classroom at Ohio
State University and Otterbein College.
Dubbed the Busy Bee by her father, Joseph imagined
a busy bee flitting through the Internet and finding
educational treasures, much like her role as a Media
Specialist.
5. For the Classroom
In addition to hyperlinks to sites like: NASA and
Encyclopedia Britannica Online, there are lesson
plans for educators for a variety of subjects, ideas
for incorporating technology into the classroom and
explanations for citing sources for academic works
and the importance of copyright.

7. How to navigate the site...
You can access the site directly through
http://CyberBee.com. Or by performing a Google
search for CyberBee.
Navigating the site is fairly easy, the homepage
provides a link for "More Features" which provides
links for each remaining pages.

9. Functionality
There is no search function.
Options are presented in order to provide quick access and are
grouped by resource type.
Because the intention is to provide a child safe way to access
academically sound kid friendly resources, what you can do within the
site is limited.
Expectations are that those who access the site, gain familiarity with
what it offers and get shortcuts to the information they need.
