• Make the film suitable for the target audience. Don’t wont
blood and gore in a children's film.
• The film will be more successful as all the features will only be
aimed towards its specific audience.

Firstly the age of the Slasher horror genre would be 15-45 years of age, this
because typically Slasher horror films are mainly based on ray serial killers
so it wouldn’t be suitable for children. Secondly the class of the target
audience would be middle/lower as most settings in Slasher Horrors are in
common places such as old houses, schools or neighbourhoods. Also most
characters within Slasher Horror from the Protagonist to the Antagonist are
normally middle class characters, so the audience will be able to relate.
5. Zombie Horror

The target audience for zombie horror is around the ages of
17+ due to the gore and would not be subtitle for ages
below 17. this is because of the extreme violence and
gore used within this horror genre. The main purpose
for zombie horror is to feel the experience of a world
disaster.
6. Comedy Horror

• Tucker & Dale Vs Evil
The target audience for comedy horrors will be aged between 15+,
this is because they will be able to handle the jump scares and
understand most of the jokes. All classes will generally watch
these films as they are able to entertain everybody. Both genders
will be attracted to comedy horrors as its main purpose it to make
the audience laugh.
