Took on a challenge to start/lead new discipline (User Experience Research) in Tokyo to
impact prioritization of user tasks that Word needed to focus to achieve success in Japan.
Eventually beat Ichitaro’s market share, then king of local word processor.

Primary PM leading team of 15 engineers to develop Word 6 and 95 product for East Asia
market (China/Japan/Korea). Set foundation of modern day global ready single binary
