Worked on transition of data center out sourcing services for about 500 servers and 8 storage systems from the incumbent
system integrator. Supported global Indian Subject Matter Experts to communicate with the incumbent Japanese engineers
to successfully take over data center operations expertise where existing operational procedures and system design
documents were not provided. Also worked on asset transfer including asset purchase, software and hardware
maintenance contracts, and creation of standard operational procedures. After March 1st
cut-over, worked on business as
usual operations such as backup failure incident management, restore service request fulfillment, service ticket handling
using ITIL-based Service Now framework.
Notable Accomplishments:
- By leveraging Hitachi products expertise for JP1, Hitachi VSP/AMS/TF850, BladeSymphony, contributed to achieve
the Mar 1st
cutover in a very difficult transition project where very limited cooperation is offered.
- Successfully took over storage based backup and BCP operations with Hitachi VSP, AMS and NetApp storage
systems by acquiring operational expertise from the incumbent vendor with frequently repeated probing questions.

Worked on go-to-market activities and product planning on storage management software for global and Japan domestic
markets. Led well-organized technical products trainings/workshops to worldwide storage presales staff, solutions
engineers, products support personnel in Americas, EMEA and APAC regions, to articulate customer benefits and
enhanced product features. Also worked on global customers/prospects reception in Japan by delivering company and
product presentations. Helped Japanese domestic presales team to sell products by providing product presentations and
sales materials with extensive deep understanding of Hitachi storage architecture, microcode features and storage solutions.
