Conservation Fund Ambassador May 2004 – present

Coordinate the “Run for the Fund,” a 5K and family walk with over 1,000 participants.
Secured sponsorship, donations, and finish line presentation at Shamu Theatre;
organized internal and external volunteers to assist with planning and implementation
of event
Grow the Run for the Fund each and every year since its inception, procuring new
sponsors at the local and national level as well as developing the run to be
implemented at all SeaWorld parks
Contribute blog content on conservation issues and strategic planning for a youth
focused engagement website
Involved in creation of new media outlets targeted at youth
Review grant applications, evaluate applicants budget as well as our own in each fiscal
