2. Do you have any comments about the text or course materials? Please explain.
Students
1. I really liked the material. It was great to have variations of examples after the material was discussed.
2. Love the text. The accompanying problems. Also the professors explanations of the problems that were posted
are invaluable to make sure I was doing the work correctly.
3. Good text, but seems to have a disconnect with the problem set. It would have been helpful if the text alerted to
how other more complex problems might arise -- even a brief listing of cross-referenced chapters that could be
involved in answering given problems.
2/14
3. If written assignments for which individual grades or comments were given were
required, did they contribute to your understanding of the subject? For such writing
assignments, was there any feedback and was the feedback helpful to your
understanding? Please explain.
Students
1. N/A
2. Yes, the weekly chapter problem sets were necessary to keep from getting behind and confused throughtout the
semester.
3. Although no written assignments were required, it would have been helpful to have feedback from a written
assignment to know expected level of information and preferred formats in order to prepare for exam.

negative stereotypes or other expressions of gender, racial, ethnic, age, religion,
national origin or sexual orientation bias? Please explain.
Students
1. Yes, she did.
2. Yes, we only had a four person class so it was a very relaxed setting.
6/14
7. With regard to the law, does Professor (Tracey Roberts) encourage students to think
independently and critically? Please explain.
Students
1. Somewhat. The materials were more so focused on understanding the law and the code. However, there were a
few breaks were the law was unclear and she posed questions on how the law should develop from this point
forward.
2. Yes, posing questions throughtout her presentations to keep the class involved.
7/14
8. Was there any teaching method or activity used by Professor (Tracey Roberts) that
was particularly beneficial to the learning process? Please explain.
Students
1. I appreciated her working through the problems step by step flushing out our ambiguities with the material.
2. Problem sets
3. The focus on working through problems was extremely helpful, as were her notes made available so that we
could double check our own work at a slower pace.
8/14
9. What was your overall opinion of the teaching performance by Professor (Tracey
Roberts) in this course?
Students
1. It was outstanding. I think she does a good job. I also like the subject of tax and appreciate her experience and
expertise in the subject.
2. Great
3. I really enjoyed Prof. Roberts as a person. My hesitancy of teaching performance is that she doesn't seem to
have found her own unique teaching style, which made class (especially when trying to give non-scripted answers
to questions asked in class). She seems to try to hard to "channel" the Cunninghams rather than just trying to
teach the material in her own way. No doubt the Cunninghams are great professors, but teaching style is a very
individualized trait.
