This image has the features of a horror film. <br />One feature is the dark and only natural light lighting in the background this creates suspense and tension as the audience is unable to see the details of the person, their emotions and what they actually look like. <br />The picture is a head and shoulders shot. So it is fairly close up. This is used in horror films as you can only see one thing in the shot (in this case a girl) and cannot see other things that could be nearby. This creates tension as the audience doesn’t know everything about were the girl is and what may be near her which in turn makes you worry and make you want to find out what happens next.<br />The angle of the shot is also slightly angled downwards making the subject seem smaller. This makes the audience feel as though she could be a victim as she is portrayed as smaller maybe insignificant and less powerful. This is a feature of horror films as there tends to be many victims.<br />
