Many of our beloved paintings hold secrets. Maybe
the composition has been changed, areas painted
over or vibrant colors hidden by age. Kelly J.
Keegan, a paintings conservator at The Art Institute
of Chicago, will review impressionist masterpieces
and how, using high-resolution imaging and
scientific analysis, the paintings’ untold stories have
now been discovered.

teacher, and his current colleague, Dr. Rebecca Schorsch,
explore the understanding of religion in literature. With

Joseph Soloveitchik’s The Lonely Man of Faith.
