Cow Ninja Tech Final Business Report

Cow Ninja Tech
Executive Summary
This report will help with the Operational Requirements of Cow Ninja Tech and give them
better protection and understanding why they need to have procedures and structure in place to
have a profitable and functioning business model. I will be suggesting some understanding of
certain procedures and legal documentation to help protect the interest of Cow Ninja Tech and its
employees.
This company is ran by Jeffrey Bloom and he has been the owner for 17 years. He currently
holds an Associate’s Degree in Technology with certifications in Network +, Security +, A+, and
C++ and works for the U.S. Navy.
I am tasked with helping in all aspects of the business including field requirements which are
checklist, tools, software and hardware and any items needed for an outbound call. The
development of marketing techniques and strategies that will allow Cow Ninja Tech to increase
their client base and increase the need for their services by using advertising, cards, signs, flyers.
I will help create and help develop contracts for the financial responsibility agreements, liability
statements, invoices, and pricing structure so the company will have protection from any wrong
doing of clients and also assuming no responsibility for damage that was caused prior to
assessment or because of work done that resulted in a non-operating device.
By the end of this project there will be a clear and concise report that states ways that a
business can be structured to be protected, efficient in their work, use of documentation for
records, and how to increase their service and needs for consumers with computer issues.

Identification of Proposed Idea
My proposed idea is to help Jeffrey Bloom owner of Cow Ninja Tech to come up with ways
of making his business better protected and putting in place certain legal disclaimers to help
protect him and his company. As we had talked I saw the need for more than just protection.
Some of the things that I noticed was that there was no contract, invoices, a set out procedure
that was set up of how the work was to be done, documented, and shown to the client so they
could have something that was tangible to reference to or have proof of Cow Ninja Tech working
on their device.
. So I found out exactly how he worked and what he did because I called him to fix a friend’s
computer and was interested in what he was doing and how he did it. I observed the whole
computer repair process and took note how he did his job and instantly seen ways to improve.
I identified some of the problems he had which were the cost was too cheap for the amount of
time he put in, that he had no formal way of documenting what had been done to the computer
except what he told you as he went along, there was no protection from liability of any damage
that was caused before or during the repair. As I looked farther into the company I found other
areas that I could help with. Like a service pricing list, there were no methods of how he did
marketing to have repeat clients or referral business come to him, and no set process on the order
of how things would be handled.
So I took some time to figure out a plan to do these things and how to help Cow Ninja Tech
become better then what it already is.

Strategic Plan
Goals and Objectives for Cow Ninja Tech are to:
Organized and to put in place protection agreements
Write a pricing list
Create invoices
Breakdown and reassembly of devices check list
Create an outbound tools requirement sheet
Talk about some marketing ideas that may help increase business
Having classes to troubleshoot simple problems
Pass out cards
Ask for referrals
Have signs on the cars so it would be billboard for the company
Implementation of Proposed Ideas
Write a liability statement that is clearly understandable to both parties
Create templates for the breakdown and reassembly process of the devices
Create an invoice that showed price, parts, labor, tax, total, date or work performed, and
address
Outline a pricing structure so it’s very easy to read and understand
Create a field checklist for tools, software, hardware, cables, or anything needed for
outbound calls
Certificate of participation in troubleshooting classes
5. COW NINJA TECH 5
Necessary resources
Time to speak with Mr. Bloom about the changes that may help
Money for marketing material (flyers, cards, cars signs)
How to set up time to do troubleshooting classes and where
Implementation of the processes and how they work for the company
Budget
The budget proposed to have the effect that the company wants is about $1000.00 a month to
start and as the time goes on then the budget can be raised because of more services provided
and to reach out to more consumers. I think in time the total budget of about $2800.00 a
month for marketing will help the increase of the business.

Reflection
Doing this project has made me feel like I can make a difference in the business world, like I
was part of something that will impact Jeffrey Bloom and Cow Ninja Tech so they can have a
better life.
Some of the processes that need to be in place is to constantly think about how to improve
what you are already doing and how to be better at it. Get outside suggestions from friends,
business owners, people who work in the field and ask them what they would change if they
could change anything. Talk to your customers and get there feedback they are the ones that
really matter and they will tell you what they think.
This project has kept me busy as I try to think of the best ways to help out a person and a
business to be the best that it can be. With some or all of these processes in place I truly believe
that Cow Ninja Tech will turn over more clients in less time and achieve customer satisfaction,
which will in turn create a stronger business and more profit for Jeffrey Bloom and Cow Ninja
Tech.
