• 2004 Public Servant of the year for the Sanford Fire Department (Appointed
by Chief Ransom) @ American Legion
• 2005 State of Florida Fire Investigator of the year, award given by State Fire
Marshal Alex Sink
• 2006 Chair of the City of Sanford’s developmental services team called
P.P.I.T. (meets monthly with every city department ) I am responsible for
minutes and agenda (next meeting June 22) appointed by then City Manager
Sherman Yehl, Now called “Open for Business” meets monthly with
Deputy City Manager, Thomas George.

Pastime/Hobbies:
I enjoy reading about history, walks with my wife of 15 years and Kayaking.
I have Three (3) wonderful daughters and a rescued long hair dog named
