Expansion in the SEPA Collect Business Group:
>Takeover of advaro Services GmbH<
SEPA Collect GmbH, headquartered in Taufkirchen/Munich, has reinforced its position in the
payment service providers (PSPs), payments and health care markets with the acquisition of advaro
Services GmbH.
Founded in 2007 by Thomas von Laffert, advaro Services GmbH has long-standing customer
relationships with payment service providers, insolvency administrators and a wide range of
healthcare professionals (doctors, clinics, laboratories, etc.).
"Sepa Collect is a debt collection company with state-of-the-art and effective IT systems as well as
digital services for creditors and debtors. These digital services are essential to survive in the legal-
tech sector since the new debt collection regulation of 01.10.2022 came into effect, which saw a
significant reduction of professional fees for debt collection services. We are pleased to provide all
our existing clients with this modern, extended service portfolio in the future," explains Thomas von
Laffert, Managing Director of advaro Services GmbH. Thomas von Laffert, an experienced lawyer in
payment services law, will also support the management team around managing directors Klaus
Paucke and Nicole Schmid as a registered manager of SEPA Collect in the future.
"For SEPA Collect, the takeover of advaro Services is a successful first step in our targeted growth
strategy, which the shareholders of the SEPA Collect Business Group are following. We currently
process around 1.5 million claims per year. Due to our highly automated processes, we expect
positive synergies from the integration of the two companies. In addition, we have been able to
merge both companies at the Taufkirchen/Munich location. With our high-performance partner in the
call centre telephone sector, we are well equipped, scalable and prepared for the future," reports
managing partner Klaus Paucke.
SEPA Collect GmbH has been active in the market for over 15 years. Initially, SEPA Collect worked
exclusively for one of the largest German payment processors in stationary trade and e-commerce.
In the interim, energy suppliers, healthcare, and housing sectors have become part of our regular
customer base. SEPA Collect focuses on solution-oriented and efficient receivables management that
does not disregard people. In this way, we achieve the highest possible recovery rates for our
customers. SEPA Collect sees itself as a mediator between client and customer and thus focuses on
a high level of customer and service orientation. We have actively followed the principle of the
Federal Association of German Debt Collectors (BDIU) "Debt collection means responsibility" since
the company was founded.
