Tommy Twardecki
Grand Ledge HS Graduate Assistant Coach
Things that are done well:
1. Need more than three things to list what Tommy did well. He was the best intern we
have had in 5 years. He attacked every task we asked him to do. He bought into our
philosophy while still bringing his own ideas and improvements to practice. He
quickly picked up what was expected in practice and in film breakdown sessions. He
fit in seamlessly. He developed great relationships with the guys. He started out as a
grad assistant and ended as an assistant that was trusted with doing film and scouting
reports for league games on his own. He did a great job scouting our district
championship game, he had almost every set the other team ran along with play calls.
Things that can be improved on:
1. There wasn’t much that Tommy didn’t do well. If I had to be critical of anything it
would be his organization. I think he under estimated the job at first and tried to
remember tasks instead of writing them down. He did a great job recognizing this and
fixing it and in no time he was very organized. It was fun to watch him grow and we
feel very fortunate to have had him as a coach in our program. I look forward to seeing
the success he has in his future.
