To whom it may concern:
My name is Michelle Class and I am writing to you today in regards to Tom Heyob. I
have known Tom since the beginning of 2010 and I can account for his ability to work with
youth, specifically troubled youths and/or youths in need of mentorship.
Being widowed, I had been looking for several years for a man to mentor my son; it was
only at the beginning of 2010 that I was introduced to Tom at church. He is a man I was told,
who has, “a heart for youths who do not have male role models in their lives”. What at first was
apprehension over a man I did not know, became a deep respect for a man my son has grown to
admire.
Tom understands the deep complex issues that are often associated with trouble youths.
With his listening ear and compassionate heart, he gains the trust and respect of the youths and
that is vital to help change the direction of their lives. Tom has a knack, a gift if you will, to
speak into the places of a child’s life that has been neglected for years. With this gifting he
cultivates: self-worth, self-respect, and value in the heart of every child. The cultivation of these
foundational building blocks will in turn give them the tools needed to succeed in life.
It is my greatest pleasure to recommend Tom Heyob for any mentoring position because
he will be able to make a difference in a child’s life. If you have any questions please feel free to
call me at the number listed below.
Sincerely,
Michelle M. Class
