If you been following my posts you know that I am an Advocate of expanding our children's education. We need to add real life experiences and active Mentorship to curriculm to prepare them for the real world. The PM HOF was created for that reason. Alumni and Community coming together to build a lasting Bond with our students. Please review our progress.
2. Where we are now:
Establishing a connection
between successful alumni
and our current students
● We are about to induct our third class to the HOF
at a dinner and ceremony April 13 2018. Please
join us.
● With the assistance of the District Media Centers, we
will archive live interviews and interactions between
students and inductees.
● In unison with the PM Middle Schools, we are
building a curriculum to bring local history to life,
highlighting experiences and accomplishments of our
Alumni and the community.
● We are in the process of establishing a mentorship
program so students can learn and seek help from
our experienced alumni.
3. THE FUTURE:
● Establish a Permanent Educational center for the
Hall of Fame on the Grounds of the LT. Michael P.
Murphy Campus of Patchogue Medford H.S.
● Provide an Interactive learning center which will bring
our community's history to life for the students.
● The continual support and pride we show towards
the alumni of our hometown by honoring them as
role-models will make this space something that the
entire community can feel a part of.
● Thank you for your support and we hope to see you
join us on this journey!

Electronic Submissions (options from our printer)
Any files given to us are preferred as PDF, but as I mentioned, I work in InDesign (as well as the rest of the
Adobe Suite) ... so I can take that as well (so long as it's CS6 or previous). Most graphic formats are accepted,
and I recommend 300dpi (minimum) at final size (600dpi minimum if it's all text/line art) for raster images.
I can also take Microsoft office files, but really prefer not to (they have a nasty habit of changing between
computers) Submit to: tsteacher@aol.com
